She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Francis Brophy (Frank) and Julia A. Brophy (Plunkett); her husband Sullivan "Sully" Zarriello; and her siblings, Mary F., Patrick, Ann, Richard, Francis, James, Vincent, Julia, Joseph and Mary T..

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Wendy), Julia Babcock (late Robert), Maribeth Bertolino (David) and Daniel (Patricia); her grandchildren, Julia, Keith, Scott, Kerri, Vincent, Lindsay, Colleen, Justin, Andrew, Megan and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Kinley, Jonathan, Luca, Sullivan (Sully), Berklie, Callen, Bryce, Brennan and William.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Catherine's name to St. Peter's St. Mary's Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
