She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Alvarez and Blanca Alvarez Diaz. She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her children, Adrian Sierra (Sarah), Parker and Lilliana; her stepdaughter Chris Dougherty (Mark Good); and her half-siblings, Luz Flores, Elizabeth Diaz and John Diaz. She is also survived by spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Zoraida Dougherty, 76, of Hastings-on-Hudson, died Dec. 20 after a ferocious, tenacious, and frequently heart-rending eight-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
