With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond L. Burpoe (Hastings on Hudson, New York), born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond H. Burpoe and Audrey L. Oates Burpoe; his wife Joan T. Popot Burpoe; his siblings, James Burpoe and Edyth Byrne; and his son-in-law John James.
He is survived by: his children, Joan James, Raymond J. Burpoe (Tammy), Denis Burpoe (Laurie), Charles Burpoe (Laura) and Kathryn Sherlock (Dave); his grandchildren, Duane (Jeanette), Stephanie, Justin (Erin), Michelle, Michael, Kristen (Evan), Nicholas, Jessica, Andrew and Kourtney; his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Jeffrey, Kellen, Kyler, Mia and Bryce; and also Disa Tonkin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
