She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Pearce and Mary Pearce; and her husband Walter DeSouza. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Borowitz, Jan DeSouza (Jay Cohen), Kenneth DeSouza, Paul DeSouza and Glenn DeSouza (Patricia); her grandchildren, Corey Borowitz (Nuria), Antoinette Cordon (Rudy) and Kevin DeSouza; and her great grandchild Enzo Cordon. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Evie's memory to any local animal rescue organization or shelter or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
