He was predeceased by: his father Carlos Cardenas, Sr.. He is survived by: his significant other Maria "Lupita" Cardenas; his children, John Cardenas (Eliza), Jennifer Nunes (Samuel), Christopher Cardenas (Stephanie) and Paul Cardenas (Danica); his grandsons, Logan, Preston, Jacob and Issac; his mother Victorina "Mami Vicky" Cardenas; his siblings, Azalia, Susan Cardenas and Michael Cardenas; his niece Ivon; his nephews, Andres, Daniel and Michael Junior; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicole, Sasha, Chaise, Chance and Ashton. He is also survived by loving husband and devoted father to his children.
