We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 91, Benito Appollonio (Hartsdale, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilia Fasano and Angelo Appollonio. He is survived by: his wife Irma Appollonio; his children, Gino Appollonio (Lina) and Maria Giovanna Doati (Dante); his grandchildren, Monica Muscarella (Giuseppe), Stephanie Espinosa (Jonathan), Sabrina Sassone (Steven) and Daniel Doati; and his great grandchildren, Matteo, Lorenzo and Santino.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farenga Brothers Funeral Home (920 Allerton Ave, Bronx, NY 10469). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (627 E 187th St, Bronx, NY 10458). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
