He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Carabeau, and Georgia Carabeau, Sr. (Millie); and his former wife Ursula G. Carabeau. He is survived by: his daughters, Jo-Ann (Kirk) and Monica Latz; his stepchildren, Rhonda, Laurie, Richard (Sarah), Theresa (Terry) and Julie; his grandchildren, Joseph (Rebeca), Adam (Fawn), Emily (Chet), William (Tiffany), Katelynn (Daniel), Matthew, Margaret and Henry; his great grandchildren, Catherine, Carter, Reese, Gemma-Rose and Dylan; and his siblings, Carolyn (Phil), Larry (Cris), Garry (Audrey) and David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert M. King Funeral Home (23 Church St, Granville, NY 12832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Scottsville Cemetery. A reception was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Otter Creek Fun Center (1800 US-7, Danby, VT 05739). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Scottsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The United Methodist Church of Hartford, NY.
