With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Benson (Hartford, New York), born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent William Harvey; and her brother William Harvey. She is survived by: her parent Grace Harvey; her spouse Francis R. Benson; her children, Dennis Benson (Shirley), Kim Ward (Jeffrey) and Lisa Ekroos (Joe); her grandchildren, Terry Benson, Jacob Benson (Mandy), Kyle Ketcham, Ashley Butler (Paul) and Zachary Ward; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Zoey, Brandon, Alyona Benson, Paulie, Rhyan, Gavin and Alexander Butler; and her siblings, Ginny Lewis, Martha Hanna (Bill) and Mary Harvey.
