He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Murphy and Nellie T. Murphy; his siblings, Michael (Barbara), James (Martha) and Theresa; and his stepdaughter Kathy Graf.
He is survived by: his former husband David; his grandchildren, Krista Murphy, Keisha Mulvey, Christine Tay, Sarah Murphy, Jessica and Zachary Colten; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Caitlyn, Lucy, Penny Tay and Quinten Roets; his wife Carole; and his stepsons, John Graf (Lorrie) and Paul (Elizabeth). He is also survived by three children.
