He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Swem and Francis Swem (Gonio); his daughter Carol Swem; and his siblings, Frank, Charles Swem, Mary Rebb, Helen Coleman and Vera Weaver.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Lou Wicks; and his wife Sharon Manchester. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
