She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pasquale Scarpato and Luigia Scarpato; her brother-in-law Vito; her children, Mario, Joseph Jr. and Lisa Bernard (Neal); and her grandsons, Andrew and Kyle Bernard.

Memorial donations can be sent to United Cerebral Palsy or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
