He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Rivet and Annette Deslauriers Rivet; his wife Sandra Garrity Rivet; and his daughter Anne Marie Rivet. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Rivet Jr. of Cohoes, Craig Rivet (Hyon Hui) of Illinois, Marc Rivet and Concetta Rivet of Texas. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
