He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughter Siobhan; his son-in-law Ken Yoshida; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Genevieve; his son Stephen; his grandchildren, Aidan and Caroline McPhail; his sisters, Mary Urru and Margaret (Peter Carhart); and also, Alison McPhail, Connor and Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
