He is survived by: his children, David Bernhardsen (Theresa), Karl Bernhardsen (Patricia) and Linnea Vail; and his grandchildren, Jason Bernhardsen, Russell Vail, Ashley Vail, Eric Bernhardsen, Karl Eric Bernhadsen and Molly Bernhardsen.
