With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger J. Merrill Sr. of Harpursville, New York, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Sarah Silvanic; his son-in-law Larry Silvanic; and his sister Emogene Davis. He is survived by: his children, Robin, Steve Brown, Penny (Woody Brown), Laurie (Robert Moore), Nelson (Pamela Merrill), Roger Merrill Jr. and Lisa (Matthew Schuchman); his son-in-law Jim Derzanovich; his siblings, Arlene (Larry Noyes), Audrey (Tom Williams) and Loren (Mary Merrill); and his sister-in-law Frederika (Ervin Johnson). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
