He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Potter and Elaine VanNess Potter. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Barnes Potter; his children, Mark Potter (Melissa) of Cortland, Timothy Potter of Groton and Valerie Suke (Trevor) of Freeville; and his brothers, Greg Potter (Potter) of Corning and Robert Stone (Carol) of Harford. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
