He was predeceased by: his parents, Freda Hotaling-Burdick and Robert Burnett; his wife Alice Burnett (Darling); his son Robert Burnett (Bobby); his stepson George Bennett; and his siblings, Sharon Baker, Karen Scanlon and Richard Burnett.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kenneth Baker-Greenleaf (Richard), Scott Greenleaf (Rosie), Fred Greenleaf (Gina), Donna Ingersoll (Jim Wade) and Howard Bennett (Burnetta); his grandsons, Robert Burnett (Nicole) and Brandon Burnett (Adrienne); his great grandchildren, Madilyn Burnett, Lillian Burnett and Lincoln Burnett; his daughter-in-law Melanie Burnett; and his siblings, Sandra Bradford (Sam), Kathy Burnett, Larry (Bonnie) and Gerald Burnett (Georgeann). He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fairdale Rural Cemetery (1254 County Rte 3, Hannibal, NY 13074).
