He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Crego and Marian Crego (Samson). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Penny Salinas (Tony) of Frisco, Raymond J. Crego of Oswego and Windy Crego of Hannibal; his grandchildren, John Lansford (Ariel) of Texas, Ashley Marie Escobedo (Daniel) of Texas, Daniel Salinas of Texas, Madison Crego-Davis (Dustin) of Hannibal and Jamie Johnson, Jr. of Fulton; and his sister Joyce Terpening of Granby. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
