He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Seals Carter. He is survived by: his mother Susie Freeman of Wappingers Falls, NY.; his children, Kalotta Q. Hemingway (Jason), Gerard W. Carter Jr. and Christopher D. Carter; his brother Bro; and his grandchildren, Taniesha Seals, Alexis Carter, Lanija Williams, Keona Carter, Jayla Hemingway, Carmonee Carter and Arabella Carter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
