He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Anderson; and his sisters, Roseanne Murphy and Myra Carlton. He is survived by: his children, Rose-Lynn Murphy of Hankins, NY and Jadon Cooper of Phenix, AL; the mother of his children Sarah Cooper of Hankins, NY; his siblings, Elicia Murphy of Newport News, VA, Ishmael Anderson of Fort Myers, FL, Brandon Murphy of Rose Hill, NC and Christopher Murphy of Rose Hill, NC; his stepsiblings, Peter Anderson and Beverly Anderson-Abdo of Poughkeepsie, NY; his cousins, Sequoyah Robinson of Fort Myers, FL, Brian Burns of Hawaii and Dion Robinson; his father Johnnie Murphy of Rose Hill, NC; his stepparents, Melissa Murphy of Rose Hill, NC and Berrisford Anderson; his granddaughter Mazikeen Cooper of Phenix, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Alisya Abdo of Poughkeepsie, NY, Matthew Villalobos of Jeffersonville, NY, Angelo Monroe, Antonio Monroe and Jasmine Monroe. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.
