We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2021, at the age of 90, William R. Whitaker of Hancock, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William R. Whitaker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlu V. Whitaker and Ruth Whitaker (DeGraw); his wife Romaine Holbert Whitaker; his brother James; his sister-in-law June Whitaker; his sister Darlyn; his brother-in-law Richard Hanrahan; his grandson Jason Whitaker; and his nephew Jeffrey Whitaker.

He is survived by: his children, Mike Whitaker, Cheryl Whitaker (Bernie), Diane Kilmer (Kevin), Jamie Whitaker, Arlu Whitaker (Judy) and Calvin Whitaker; and his stepchildren, Russell Bass (Lynn) and Lydia Jones (Bill). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
