He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, W. Knighton Peters and Joel Ekholm; and his friend Walter Davis. He is survived by: his wife Alice Marsh; his friend Chris; his children, Nicole Hartz Fisher (John Fisher), Virginia and Paul Hartz; his sisters, Miriam Peters of Hancock, N. Y and Jeanne Ekholm; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Whiting (Randy), Paula Wrighter (Donald) and Peggy Towner (Robert); his nephew J. R. Peters; his godson Phillip Martin; and also Alice Hartz.
