He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Hallstead and Permelia Hallstead (Schriver); his wife Sylvia J. Maslar; his sons, Jerry and Larry; and his siblings, Gerald Hallstead and Luella Gotthardt.
He is survived by: his sons, Rich (Kim) and Chris (Kathie); his grandchildren, Morgan, Christopher Jr., JJ, Maygan and Leal Hallstead; his great grandchildren, Raven and Archer; and his sisters, Juanita Palmer and Georgia Capach. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made in Dick's memory to the American Legion Post 289, 210 Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, NY 13783.
