He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl I. Schrier and Athelia Schrier (Allen); his son Kenneth Schrier; his great grandchild Mario Darder V; and his siblings, Emma Earl, Ronald Schrier and Diane Caruso.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Whiting (Floyd) and Karleen Darder; his grandchildren, Mario Darder IV, Katelyn Littleton (James) and Cameron Darder; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Ellie and Aurora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
