He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith; his daughter Pamela Smoot (Paul) of Monroe, NY; his siblings, David Smith of New Windsor, NY, Valarie Rose of Westtown, NY, Cheryl Smith of St. Louis, MO and Margaret "Peggy" DeGrote (David) of Highland Mills, NY; his sister-in-law Alice Smith; his grandchildren, Natasha Smoot and Paul "PJ" Smoot; and his great grandchild Jeffrey "JJ" Seda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
