He was predeceased by: his parents, James Erway and Lillian Erway (Russell); his siblings, Evelyn Perry, Eldora Messick, DeVillo Erway, Phyllis Howard, Elwood Erway, Ronald Erway and Lyman Erway; and his sons, Brian Erway and Bruce Erway.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bondelyn Vandelinder (Bonnie); and his children, Thomas (Mandy Erway), Diane (Kieth Morlan), Terry (Renee Erway) and Michael Erway of Hammondsport. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
