With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James I. Pearson of Hamlin, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pearson and Jean Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Meg Pearson (Kavanaugh); his sister Frances Okal (John); and his in-laws, Timothy Kavanaugh (Elizabeth), Richard Gerald Kavanaugh (Katie), Gregory Kavanaugh (Emy), Terry Kavanaugh (Brenda) and Mary Driscoll (Brian).
Jim was a devoted Yankee fan, and throughout his struggles with Alzheimer's was comforted by watching old and new games on T.V. Since the age of 10 Jim enjoyed his family's cottage in Canada.
