Robert Fass wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Waldo Scott, Someone so special will not be forgotten. I met Scotty in 1970 at C W Post College. My girlfriend (wife now) and he set me up to go into education. Scotty 'molded' me to become a successful teacher, and a man. He was such a role model and friend who I stayed in contact with for decades. I would trek up to Hamilton and we would have dinner and I would stay over. It was always a treat, for both of us. He touched so many people; his legacy will go on.”
