With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Broedel of Hamilton, New York, born in Oriskany Falls, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis, Sr. Broedel and Mary Brady Broedel; and his brothers, Jake, Bill, Bob (Meg) and Frank "Tubby" (Cathie Broedel).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Broedel of Utica, Jamie Broedel of Hamilton and Steven Broedel (Jessica) of Eaton; his grandson Nathan Broedel (Charlie Cook) of Utica; his great grandchild Luca Jayce; his grandchildren, Matthew Broedel of Rochester, Kaylin Broadwell of Marcy, Mikenna and Mikyla Broedel of Eaton; and his sisters-in-law, Dana Broedel, Brookfield and Joan Broedel of New Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
