He was predeceased by: his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Slighter; his children, Carol Ackerman (late Joseph), Brian Slighter (Janet), Sandra Vendetta (Scott), Linda Ritchie (Donald), Scott Slighter (Heidi) and Wayne Slighter (Heather); and his siblings, Laura Moreau, Polly Peterson, Alfred and Verne Slighter. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
