He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Persico; his son Michael Persico; and his grandson Justin Persico. He is survived by: his children, David (Becky), Sharon (Ed Misiak), Richard M. and Jackie Persico; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Becky), Matthew and Nicole (McCray); and his great grandchildren, Juliana, James, Giavanna and Landen. He is also survived by many nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hawk Creek Wildlife Center.
