She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas E. Grabecki; and her parents, Roy Nicholson and Anne Nicholson. She is survived by: her children, Katherine "Katy" and Thomas Grabecki; her siblings, Patrice Marcks (Kurt) and Bruce Nicholson; and her close friend Teneva Dennis. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Polly's memory be made to the More Than Strong Cancer Fund an organization that Polly strongly supported.
