He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; and his parents, Raymond F. Canfield and Loretta M. Canfield. He is survived by: his children, Loretta Hooper (Doug), Joseph Canfield (Robin), Cathleen Dotzler, Margaret Chmielewski (Marion), Joanne Struck (Kevin) and Daniel Canfield (Kelly). He is also survived by grandchildren and ten cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home (21 Pierce Ave, Hamburg, NY 14075). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St Bernadette's Church (5930 S Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
