He was predeceased by: his son John O'Day III; his granddaughter Chloe O'Day; and his sibling Thomas O'Day. He is survived by: his wife Theresa M. O'Day; his children, Domenique O'Day, Jeanne, Arc O'Day, Cathleen O'Day (Paul Becker), Francis O'Day (Rachel Nati) and Carolyn Portillo (Ruben); his grandchildren, James Magyar, Noel O'Day, Ryan, Aidan and Brendan Becker; and his siblings, William O'Day (late Martha), James O'Day, Peter O'Day (Alice), Jeanne O'Day and Terence O'Day (Mary Ann).
