He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Hodil and Dorothy Hodil. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hodil; his children, Christopher Hodil (Karolina) and Sheryl Klubek (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Justin, Alexandra, Cameron, Carter and Elle; his brother Butch Hodil (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Pierscinski (Joan Orr) and Ronald Pierscinski (Linda).
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's honor may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.
