He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry" (Wright); his son Scott Koester (Kim); his stepchildren, Shawn Wright (Coleen) and Kim Cassidy (Shawn); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Hollie, Joshua, Evan, Addison, Megan, Drew and Molly; and his sisters, Dorothy Romanczuk (Michael), Judy Gerace (Frank) and Norma Stumph (Bruce). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
