She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Smuda Sr.; her son Stephen Smuda Jr. (Joyce); and her parents, John Szkutak and Honoreta Szkutak. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
