He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Sim; and his brother John Sim (Violet). He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Sim; his children, Gerald Sim (Linda) and Tracy Olma (Gerard); his grandsons, Seth Sim (Leslie), Cody Sim, James Statler and Michael Reid; his great grandchild Walker; and his siblings, Patricia Harvey (Charles), William Sim (Delores) and Joan Byrnes (PJ). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
