She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Cosimano and Mary Cosimano; and her brother Ben Cosimano. She is survived by: her husband David E. Gerstner; her children, David Gerstner (Michelangelo Signorile), Suzanne Nixon (Carl) and Catherine Balbierz (David); her grandchildren, Elliott, Ryan (Ellie) and Taylor (Blair); and her caregivers, Dr. John Notaro, Dr. Yijun Cheng, Becky, Cathy, Anne, Paula and Paige. She is also survived by relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeannie's name to the Hospice Foundation of WNY.
