She was predeceased by: her husband Elton C. Palmerton; and her brother John W. Nichols. She is survived by: her children, John Palmerton (Zoe) and Jane Palmerton Groves (Mark); her granddaughters, Holly Palmerton Thomas (Nick) and Sarah Groves Hucaluk (Trever); and her sibling Corydon O. Nichols. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
