He was predeceased by: his parents, John Madeja and Stella Madeja; and his siblings, Mary Alice Schiavi (late Michael), John Madeja (Lucy), Michael Madja (late Judy) and Sandra D'Adario.
He is survived by: his wife Linda E. Madeja (Krull); and his goddaughter Emily Madeja. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
