He is survived by: his wife Valerie Schmelzinger; his children, Anthony Schmelzinger (Dorothy), Robert Schmelzinger (Kimberly), Joseph Schmelzinger (Annette) and Amanda O'Brien; his grandchildren, Anthony, Nicole (Joshua), Robert, Jamie (Travis), Angelia (Gage), Maria, Cassie, Kelsie, Cloe, Alivia and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Colton, Aubrey, Logan, Landon, Brooklyn and Maya; and his sister Patricia Szczygiel (Joseph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial Hamburg Chapel (4199 Lake Shore Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
