With solemn reverence, we commemorate Christine E. Hendra of Hamburg, New York, whose life came to an end on February 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Christine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Christine. Though Christine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Terry Neal Hendra; her children, Erika K. Hendra (late Jason Ram) and Travis N. Hendra (Virginia); her brother Michael Wittke (late Carrie); and her grandchildren, Timothy N. and Violet A. Hendra.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church (682 Ridge Rd, Buffalo, NY 14218).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials in Christine's name to "Buffalo and Erie County Public Library" and/or "Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens".
