He was predeceased by: his brother Ray Kirst (late Geraldine). He is survived by: his wife Mabel Kirst; his children, Donald (Karen), Ken (Kathy), Diane Worthington (Richard), Karen Howe (late Donald) and Michael Kirst (Joan); and his siblings, Doris Schmidt (late Richard), Eileen Cottet (late Bill), Jane Kruger (Donald), Jack Kirst (Jean), Howard Kirst (late Marie), Marion Koelmel (late George) and Robert Kirst (late Dolores). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family requested private services.
Memorials may be made to the Hamburg Knights of Columbus, Council 2220.
