He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael Gangemi (late Katherine), Catherine Pellegrino (late Anthony), Lee Gangemi (late JoAnn), Yonnie Gangemi (late Ann), John Gangemi (Geraldine) and Joseph Gangemi (late Angie).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gangemi; his children, Jodi Riley, Elizabeth Downs (Michael Moretti) and Michael Gangemi (Alphia C.); his grandchildren, Leland, Reagan, Debra Jean, Alphia Emily and Angelo; his great grandchild Rowan; and his sister Phyllis Cioppa (late Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sacred Heart (3148 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
