He was predeceased by: his brother Heinrich Gaeding (Ingrid). He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Halfmoon; his daughters, Carrie Ann Arena (Chris) and Kirsten Gaeding; and his grandchildren, Maxwell Arena, Laurel Arena and Isabel Gaeding. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
