She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel Rifenburg (DeLaMater) and Spencer Rifenburg; her husband Walter Butler of Halfmoon; her nephew Dana Rifenburg; her brother Douglas Rifenburg (Gloria); her nephews, Douglas Jr. Rifenburg (Denise), Anthony Rifenburg (Liz) and Charles Rifenburg (Jeffy); and her cousin Vaughn Lainhart Nevin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Jean's name to the senior centers of Halfmoon or Clifton Park or to a charity focused on the care of animals or the elderly.
