We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2021, at the age of 62, James Howard Schermerhorn of Halfmoon, New York, born in Cohoes, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Ellen Melesky Schermerhorn. He is survived by: his father Howard James Schermerhorn of Halfmoon, NY; his sons, Evan James Schermerhorn of Malta, NY and Tyler Robert Schermerhorn of Ballston Lake, NY; the mother of his children Deborah Schermerhorn of Malta, NY; his sister Laurie Sparks (David) of Malta, NY.; his significant other Karen Hallenbeck of Ballston Lake; his daughter Ashley Lynn Hallenbeck (Andrew Thomas Sansom) of Ballston Lake, NY; and also, Donald and Jean Dean. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his 4 legged son "Duke" and grandson.
