He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Pingelski and Pauline Pingelski; and his siblings, John (Helen), Edward (Helen), Stephen Jr., Joseph Sr., William, Adam (Irene), Anna, Helen and Sophie (Edward).

He is survived by: his wife Amelia Pingelski; his sister Stasia Hayner (Nick); his sisters-in-law, Mary, Shirley and Dorothy; and his children, Frank Pingelski Jr. (Jane), Donald Pingelski (Karen) and MaryAnn Wendt (Mark). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
