It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Burak of Halfmoon, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on February 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman T. "Norm" Burak; and her siblings, Martin Slagel and Marion Skowron. She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Craig Burak (Taylor), Nathanial Burak (Leah) and Madeleine Festin; and her friend Regina Chambers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church (569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation in honor of her loving husband, Norm.
